Work completed by Capricorn Copper in the reporting period on EPM26422 has focused on prospect reviews at Mount Robert and Boozer Smith Prospects.
A data review at Mount Robert recommended future work including additional drilling to test beneath historical drilling and determine the vertical extent of intersected mineralisation. A prospect geophysical survey (EM, gravity) to determine additional drill targets over Mount Robert and Mount Robert East. No further geochemical work is recommended due to the abundance of outcrop at surface
A data review and rock chip sampling was completed at Boozer Smiths’ Workings. The geochemical results were not favourable for copper, or gold mineralisation. There are historical workings and drill holes at this prospect, however the result of the data review and rock chips put this prospect at a lower priority.
Exploration next year will focus on the Crystal Creek area. Capricorn Copper successfully applied for a CEI Grant in 2020 to complete a Falcon airborne gravity survey over Crystal Creek, this will be completed in early 2021.
