How does the contact nurse guide the nursing student in practical skills, and what takes place in this process?

The purpose of this thesis at the Department of Nursing Science at the University of Oslo is to describe what a selection of contact nurses put into the concept of 'håndlag' (personal skills, bedside manner) in nursing. It has been sought to describe how the dissemination of knowledge related to 'håndlag' takes place in practice. The project contains descriptions of which forms of knowledge the 'håndlag' in nursing deals with, important prerequisites for being able to build up a 'håndlag', contexts in which the 'håndlag' is expressed and what influences a 'håndag'. There are also descriptions of how the dissemination of knowledge related to 'håndlag' in nursing takes place from the contact nurse to the student, in what context this knowledge dissemination occurs, what influences the dissemination - internal/external factors, choice of dissemination strategy and factors in the student that influence the dissemination.
