Peanut is an important oil and economic crop in China, known for its unique aroma and nutritional value. No tillage is a conservation tillage treatment that effectively improves soil quality, influences nitrogen absorption and utilization in peanuts, and subsequently affects the formation of peanut aroma quality and yield. This study conducted a two- year field experiment to analyze the effects of NT and Conventional tillage on soil physicochemical properties, microbial community structure, nitrification functional gene abundance, peanut fatty acid and amino acid composition, aroma volatile compounds, and peanut yield.
