Images from Descriptive Buildings Recording Work at The Bungalows, Stonebroom, Chesterfield, 2025

This collection comprises images from a Descriptive Buildings Record (Level 2) at The Bungalows, Stonebroom, Chesterfield. The work was undertaken by Wessex Archaeology in 2025 and involved the recording of a group of postSecond World War bungalows in advance of proposed demolition and residential redevelopment at the site. The site comprises 50 singlestorey, twobedroom bungalows arranged within the mid20thcentury Birkinstile estate located on the western fringe of Stonebroom village. Each dwelling includes associated front and rear gardens and is sited along three interconnecting access roads.
