This is a dynamics multilevel network study of the process of market construction in two trade fairs in the global audiovisual market (Eastern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa). We study the social networks of sales representatives, sellers and buyers, but also advertisers, distributors, and producers in this international market for television programs. We do so in order to understand informational and commercial flows between them and compare outcomes with European and global cultural policies. We try to understand the construction of an Eastern European and an African audiovisual market through evolution and stabilization of this network structure. Data on products, preferences, strategies and performances and careers of sales representatives etc. are also collected so as to use SIENA modelling and create measurements of synchronization costs and inequalities at multiple levels simultaneously.
