A Registered Structural Engineer refers to a professional who has obtained the Practicing Qualification Certificate and Registration Certificate of Registered Structural Engineer of the People's Republic of China, and engages in the following businesses: structural engineering design; technical consulting for structural engineering design; investigation and appraisal of buildings, structures, engineering facilities and other similar works; construction guidance and supervision for the projects whose design he/she has presided over; and other businesses as stipulated by the Ministry of Construction and relevant departments under the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
