资源简介:
Figure 3: Peptidergic and mechanosensory afferent nerves are present in the developing kidney. (A) E15.5 kidney section immunostained for the neuropeptide CGRP+ (magenta) and pan-neuronal marker TUBB3 (green). CGRP+ nerves are mainly associated with the kidney vasculature (CD31, yellow; arrowhead) at this stage. (B) Sections of Pod-Cretg/+;R26tdTomato/tdTomato P0 kidneys show CGRP+ axons (magenta) near (arrowhead) glomeruli (tdTomato, green) and close to proximal tubules (LRP2, yellow). (C) Adult kidney section shows CGRP+ (magenta) axons colocalized with TUBB3 (green) closely associating with the vasculature (CD31, yellow) and in close proximity to glomeruli (arrowhead). (D) E18.5 kidney section immunostained for substance P (SubP, magenta) shows overlap with TUBB3 (green). SubP+ nerves were found associated with the vasculature (CD31, yellow) and near glomeruli (arrowhead). (E) Adult kidney section immunostained for SubP+ (magenta) and TUBB3 (green) shows SubP+ nerves along the vasculature (CD31, yellow) and in close proximity to glomeruli (arrowhead). (F) E15.5 kidney section immunostained for PIEZO2 (magenta) and TUBB3 (green) show PIEZO2+ nerves associating with the vasculature (CD31, yellow; arrowhead). (G) Sections of Pod-Cretg/+;R26tdTomato/tdTomato P0 kidneys immunostained for PIEZO2 (magenta) show PIEZO2+ nerves closely associating (arrowheads) with glomeruli (tdTomato, green) and proximal tubules (LRP2, yellow).
