Arthrobacter sp. strain:KFRI-F3372 isolate:Doenjang(Soybean paste, Korea traditional fermented food) Genome sequencing

F3372 is a microorganism that was isolated from Korean traditional fermented soybean paste (doenjang) and was initially identified as Pseudarthrobacter oxydans based on 16S rRNA sequencing. However, whole genome analysis revealed that it belongs to the Arthrobacter sp. genus. This microorganism shows low levels of protease, lipase, and esterase activity, but exhibits very high levels of beta-galactosidase, alpha-glucosidase, and beta-glucosidase activity.
