Seagrass in the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea 1991-06-15

Aircraft mapping of seagrass meadows since 1991 as part of the trilateral monitoring programme (TMAP). Polygon and line cover. 2 Density classes of closed stocks are recorded. The identification of the surfaces from the sports aircraft is only possible from about 25 % coverage, Zostera nana and Z. marina are not distinguished. The results are recorded in maps according to observations, and in the case of remote stocks, the situational inaccuracies are greater. From 1989 and 1990 there are similar mappings in the framework of the ecosystem research of Schleswig-Holstein’s Wadden Sea, but differing in the classification.
