Raw data for "The role of Gd2O3 rare-earth in structural, optical, and ionizing radiation shielding properties of a newly developed borate glass: A study with the Geant4 MC toolkit" manuscript.

This repository contains the underlying datasets supporting the manuscript: “The role of Gd₂O₃ rare-earth in structural, optical, and ionizing radiation shielding properties of a newly developed borate glass: A study with the Geant4 MC toolkit.”Included are: (i) FTIR transmittance spectra of the investigated borate glass samples, (ii) optical dataset used to derive optical parameters reported in the manuscript, (iii) Geant4 Monte Carlo outputs used to compute the linear attenuation coefficient (μ) and related shielding quantities, and (iv) SRIM-generated stopping power and projected range data used for charged-particle interaction analysis.Data files are provided in accessible formats (e.g., CSV/Excel) and organized by dataset type. These datasets enable verification of plotted figures/tables and facilitate reuse for comparative shielding/optical studies in borate-based glass systems.
