Magmatism and metamorphism of mafic intrusives at Dromedary Massif, Mt Dromedary, south Victoria Land

The original and metamorphic mineralogy, deformation and relationship to the metasediments of the Mt Dromedary area, south Victoria Land was studied. Granites were also looked at with respect to deformation and intrusion relationships. Mapping and sampling was conducted along the north trending ridge (granite), the southeast trending ridge (gabbro), the south trending ridge (gabbro), the north side of the Renegar Glacier (gabbro and metasediment) and, two gabbro bodies were mapped in detail and an inhomogeneous, granitoid unit and granites along the southern flanking rdige of Roaring Vally were mapped.
