Chenopodium quinoa Transcriptome or Gene expression

Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) is a dicotyledonous annual amaranth herb that belongs to the Chenopodiaceae family. It possesses climate adaptability and is of high nutritional value. Nitrogen fertilizer has a demonstrable effect on the growth and development of quinoa. The various responses of crops to nitrogen application may affect grain quality and yield. To explore the nitrogen regulatory mechanism of quinoa seedlings and its impact on their growth, we selected two varieties (Dianli-1299 and Dianli-71) of quinoa seedling samples and analyzed them using metabolomics and transcriptomics. These results will enable a deeper understanding of the metabolic process of plants under different nitrogen treatments and provide a theoretical reference for improving the nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) of quinoa in the future.
