NRS-8210 | Lithographs [Lithographic Branch, Department of Lands]

These are lithographic plans printed by the Lands Department. The earlier plans are very varied and include coastal charts, plans of roads and railways, towns and villages, portions of parishes, maps of counties, patents (eg. Ebenezer Stevens' various engines), architectural plans (eg. lunatic asylums at Tarban Creek and Parramatta) and barometric readings. A partial card index has been compiled and incorporated in a card index available in the Western Sydney reading room.
