Whole genome sequence of Aspergillus oryzae strain overexpressing the omega-3 desaturase candidate gene AO090010000714

This Aspergillus oryzae strain was genetically modified to overexpress the omega-3 fatty acid desaturase candidate gene AO090010000714. Constructed based on the RIB40 background, the strain was developed for functional analysis of polyunsaturated fatty acid biosynthesis. Whole genome sequencing was conducted to confirm the genetic integrity of the strain and to clarify its status as a self-cloned organism. The sequence data also support downstream transcriptomic and metabolic studies.
