Genomic surveillance of Salmonella isolated from canal water in Thailand from 2016 to 2020

This study aimed to assess the potential risk of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and the role of urban canals as reservoirs by performing whole genome sequencing (WGS) on Salmonella strains isolated from canal water in Bangkok, Thailand. The samples, collected over a period from 2016 to 2020, provided a comprehensive dataset for examining the genetic characteristics of AMR in these environments.
