Community Resilience Learning Collaborative and Research Network (C-LEARN)

The Community Resilience Learning Collaborative and Research Network (C-LEARN) is a study to learn how best to enhance preparedness and resilience in disaster-prone communities in Southeast Louisiana.<br><br>In Phase 1 of the study, we conducted qualitative interviews with community leaders, agency and organization heads, and other community stakeholders throughout Orleans Parish, East Baton Rouge Parish, and Coastal Louisiana. Interviews were meant to capture community needs, assets, partnerships, priorities, and previous experiences related to disaster exposure.<br><br>In Phase 3 of the study, we conducted a second round of qualitative interviews with community leaders and stakeholders to rapidly assess evolving community needs, priorities, and assets as COVID became a growing global public health threat.
