The National Food Safety Standard Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Foods (GB 2763—2021) stipulates that the maximum residue limit (MRL) of fenthion in chili peppers is 0.05 mg/kg. This dataset is mainly used to monitor the fenthion content indicators of chili peppers in the circulation market of Zhuji City, providing regulatory basis for local supervision departments. 1. Data Collection: The data is collected from sampled inspection specimens obtained from markets in Zhuji City. 2. The detection values of the sampled products in Zhuji's markets are calculated using the following formula: X = (C × V × f × K) / m. Where: X represents the content of the target component in the test sample, with the unit of milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg); C represents the fenthion concentration in the sample test solution, with the unit of milligrams per liter (mg/L); V represents the final fixed volume of the sample test solution, with the unit of milliliter (mL); m represents the mass of the test sample, with the unit of gram (g); f represents the dilution factor; K is set to 1 for non-pit fruits. The content data of the detection item fenthion can thus be obtained. 3. The aforementioned detection data are compared against the testing requirements specified in the national standard GB 23200.113-2018 National Food Safety Standard Determination of 208 Pesticides and Their Metabolite Residues in Plant-derived Foods. Samples with detection values within the specified limit are qualified, while those exceeding the limit are unqualified.
