Fish and benthic data used in Srinivasan et al. paper :The effects of Cyclone Debbie on coral cover and two coral associated reef fish families in the Whitsunday Islands".

Raw fish abundance (counts) and benthic habitat (percentage cover) survey data for inshore reefs is the Whitsunday Islands (Queensland, Australia) 2012 - 2023. Fish surveys (underwater visual census) conducted on 2x50m and 6x50m belt transects with transect size indicated by the variable "TRANSECT.M2" in the data. Different fish species are counted on different transect widths. Benthic data collected along the same 50m transects at each site using point intercept of 100 points. T_ID for both fish and benthic data sets denotes the survey region (Whitsunday), site code, survey year and transect number.
