Data are grain size measurements collected from cores taken along cross sections of an island on Wax Lake Delta, LA during the summer of 2015. Sediment samples were taken from cores at constant depth invervals.Grain size was processed after sediment samples were treated with H2O2 to remove organic matter. Grain size distributions were measured using laser grain diffration instrument (Mastersizer).
