RWANDA (2011): Etude TRaC sur la Planification Familiale visant l'Utilisation des Methodes Contraceptives Modernes parmi les Femmes de 15-49 ans. Deuxieme passage.

The purpose of the Tracking Results Continuously (TRaC) survey among women age 15- 49 is to provide evidence for monitoring and evaluating MCH's Family Planning Program implemented by PSI Rwanda. While the target group for the family planning program is women age 15-35, the study will include women age 15-49 to make it comparable with the baseline. A sub-analysis of women age 15-35 will also be conducted to provide critical information for the primary target group. The data gathered through the 2011 TRaC survey will be analyzed according to PSI's research methodologies as outlined in the Performance Framework (Appendix 1). Results will be presented in the PSI Research Dashboard format and included in the annual PSI Dashboard PERForMance Review. The Dashboard is a set of standardized tables for segmenting evaluating program effective ness. The PSI Dashboard PERForMance Review presents data on key behavioral indicators in HIV/AIDS, Family Planning, and Malaria across all PSI countries. The PERForMance Review on Family Planning includes an indicator on current use of a modern contraceptive method. Data on these indicators and others will be collected in the 2011 TRaC survey and will be presented in the 2011 PERForMance Review. Internally, results from the Dashboard and the PERForMance Review will be used in strategic, project and marketing planning. Externally, results can be used for meeting stakeholder information needs in terms of intervention performance and advocacy as appropriate.
