Gene expression profile of adult male mouse liver using total liver RNA-seq and nuclear liver RNA-Seq

Gene expression in male mouse liver was assayed by RNA-seq, as part of a study to study cellular compartmentalization of hepatic lincRNAs. Pools comprised of total or nuclear liver RNA isolated from individual male mice killed at either 11 AM or 2 PM were prepared and used for RNA-seq (paired-end 100 seq reads).本研究旨在探究肝脏长基因间非编码RNA（long intergenic non-coding RNAs, lincRNAs）的细胞区室化特征，通过RNA测序（RNA-seq）检测雄性小鼠肝脏中的基因表达水平。实验人员制备了两类RNA混合样本，分别提取自上午11时或下午2时处死的单只雄性小鼠的总肝脏RNA与细胞核肝脏RNA，随后将上述样本用于RNA测序，测序采用双端100bp读长模式（paired-end 100 seq reads）。
