In this data, we hypothesize that ketamine addiction leads to significant changes in the composition and function of gut microbiota in rats, and these changes are associated with addictive behavior and related physiological indicators. By conducting metagenomic sequencing of gut microbiota in ketamine addicted rats, we obtained detailed microbiome data and revealed differences in microbial composition between different experimental groups. Important findings include significant changes in the abundance of certain key microbial genera in the gut of ketamine addicted rats. Data analysis suggests that ketamine addiction may affect brain function and addictive behavior by regulating gut microbiota, providing a new perspective for understanding the role of the gut brain axis in addiction mechanisms.
