资源简介:
Byron Bay - New South WalesData Attributes2 min video clip16 - 25 frames per secVideo format: WMV/H264 codec640 x 480 pixels or greater Good view immediate south and partly obscured to east. Okay for shoreline and waves in both directions but not for the entire beach. The beach type at Main Beach is LTT. Most waves reaching the beach have to refract around Cape Byron resulting in a decrease in wave height which produce a wide attached bar occasionally cut by skewed rips. Rips (when present) and longshore currents usually sweep to the north along Main Beach toward the seawall, where they turn and run seaward. In the 3 km sweep between the seawall and The Pass the beach curves round to face the north then northeast. A hazard is present in the form of pulses of sand (sand waves) that periodically move around Cape Byron and along past Fishermans Lookout to form long, elongate sand bars and backing troughs or lagoons sweeping along toward Main Beach. 2min Windows Media video clips taken from 5am to 7pmMissing Data is listed below from November 2006 to 20102006- November 1-13,232007- April 25-27- June 13,14,30- July 1,2,8- August 12-14, 20-22- September 25-27,29- October 1,21-272008- January 8,9,13- February 24-29- March 1-10- April 7-9,26- May 12,14- June 2,21,22,28- July 27- August 11,17,24- September 202009- January 17,18,23- March 1, 14-31- April 11-30- May 8-31- June 3-30- July all missing- August 1-30- September 12-14,19- November 1,24,25- December 5,62010- January 9-11- February 18-28- March 1,2,25,26- April 18- May 6,7- September 12- October 2-31- November 1-10- December 1-10Video clip taken while the camera is on tour.
