AfD Discourse Corpus (2013–2026) and Replication Package for "Nativism in an Immigration Society: Four Faces of the AfD Phenomenon"

A multi-arena corpus of the discourse of Germany's Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), assembled for corpus-assisted critical discourse analysis. It documents the AfD across four communicative arenas — federal election manifestos (2013–2025), the 2016 founding programme, state (Landtag) manifestos (2024), flagship rally speeches, and Bundestag plenary speeches (2017–2026, 7,810 speeches) — together with a comparative reference set of all major parties' manifestos (2013–2025). Owing to copyright, only the public-domain parliamentary-speech layer (derived from the CPP-BT corpus, CC0) is included in full; all other materials are documented with full provenance and a reconstruction recipe in README.md and MANIFEST.csv, so that the complete corpus can be reproduced from its original sources (Manifesto Project, afd.de, CPP-BT). See README.md for structure and licensing and CODEBOOK.md for variable documentation. Version 5 adds the replication package for the book (RWP_Zenodo_Book_v1.5_2026-08-12.zip). It carries the analysis code and derived measures behind every figure and table, in a rights-layered structure: code/ (ecological inference and spatial panel analyses, corpus linguistics, bibliometrics, media analyses, the Chapter 11 MARPOR family rebuild, the GLES attitudinal model, and the SOEP event-study pipeline), data_open/ (official electoral results, Strukturdaten, Zensus tables, own codings and derived measures), and data_thirdparty/ (identifier-level documentation with per-file checksums for material that may not be redistributed). It also carries the pre-registration and the results record of the August 2026 revision, covering the configuration-model null for the bibliometric partitions, the within-SD restatement of the constituency panel, the keyness passage-surfacing audit, the negative-case corpus search, the speaker-fixed-effects plenary trend, and the duplicate and bot screening of the reception corpus. Contract-restricted microdata (SOEP-Core v41 EU Edition; GLES 2025, ZA10100) are not included; the deposited scripts reproduce the reported estimates for any contract holder. No message or comment text and no usernames are deposited. Licences: code MIT, data and documentation CC BY 4.0. The corpus archive is re-issued in this version as RWP_Zenodo_Corpus_v5_2026-08-12.zip. Its contents are identical to those of version 4 except for README.md, whose citation guidance was corrected: the deposit is cited by its concept DOI (10.5281/zenodo.20797512), which always resolves to the current version, and the file's version label now tracks the record. The version 4 archive remains available under its own version DOI.
