Gene expression in cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL), dermatitis (D), and healthy subjects (HS)

FFPE skin biopsy samples from patients with CTCL, dermatitis, or healthy controls were profiled by NanoString gene expression analysis A classifier was constructed that was able to identify mycosis fungoides (MF) samples from dermatitis and healthy controls. A discovery set of 43 early-stage MF biopsies, 29 dermatitis biopsies, and biopsies from 12 healthy controls were profiled by an 800 gene NanoString panel. An independent validation cohort of 27 MF and 17 dermatitis samples was applied.
