Social Housing Waiting List by Number of Rooms and Ethnicity

This dataset shows the broad and detailed ethnicity of those who are on the housing register as well as the number of bedrooms they have indicated they need.A housing register is a list of individuals or households who have applied for social or affordable housing, maintained by local councils or housing associations. People join the register to indicate their need for housing assistance due to factors like low income, overcrowding, or unsuitable current housing. Applicants are usually assessed based on their circumstances, such as family size, health issues, or vulnerability, to determine their priority level and specific housing requirements, like the number of bedrooms. Small number suppression has been applied to those detailed ethnicities which are less than 10. All those individuals will be listed as a group called Data disclosure protection.
