VPRS 13654 Card Index to Teacher Record Books [use VPRS 13719, Database Index to Teacher Record Books]

This series was created to provide access to VPRS 13579 Teacher Record Books (also available on microfilm, VPRS 13718). The series was created from c.1930 - c.1959, however it retrospectively provides access to entries in the Teacher Record Books from 1863 - 1959.The records contain the name of the teacher, their record number and the relevant record book number. It may also include a second number annotated E.M or Educ Mig. This relates to VPRS 13970 Education of Migrants Record Books. A number with a PR prefix indicates the officer's record is in VPRS 14440 Register of Professional Officers rather than the Teacher Record Books.
