Uncalibrated period average or millivolts, uncalibrated xylem volumetric water content (VWC), and calibrated xylem VWC data measured every 30 minutes at various heights and depth in four trees each of trembling aspen (<i>Populus tremuloides</i>) and Douglas-fir (<i>Pseudotsuga menziesii</i>) at East Fork Mink Creek Nordic Center (42º 42’ 39.7” N, 112° 22’ 31.3” W) in southeastern Idaho from June 13th, 2022 at 16:30 to September 2nd, 2022 at 10:30. VWC was measured using time-domain or frequency-domain reflectometry soil moisture sensors (CS616; Campbell Scientific Inc., Logan, UT; TEROS 10; METER, Pullman, WA) on a data logger (CR1000; Campbell Scientific Inc., Logan, UT) with a multiplexer (AM16/32; Campbell Scientific Inc., Logan, UT).
