Perceptual Illusion Dataset

Dataset for the study entitled " Slowed Sensory Reweighting and Postural Illusions in Older Adults: The Moving Platform Illusion". <br>Experiment 1 dataset includes the following data for young, healthy older and fall-prone older groups (N=11 per group):- participant demographics (age, weight, height etc.)- anterior posterior path length during each 30s of the baseline phase, sway-referenced adaptation phase and stable reintegration phase- anterior posterior path length during each 10s of the above-mentioned phases- muscle co-contraction between the tibialis anterior (TA) and gastrocnemius medialis (GM) and the TA and soleus (SOL) during each 30s of the above-mentioned phases<br>Experiment 2 dataset includes the following data for young (N = 11) and older groups (N = 14):- participant demographics (age, weight, height etc.)- anterior posterior path length during each 30s of the baseline phase, sway-referenced adaptation phase and stable reintegration phase- anterior posterior path length during each 10s of the above-mentioned phases<br><strong> </strong>
