TC tracks for 'Projected changes to Tropical Cyclones in the southwest Indian Ocean using high-resolution Global Climate Models'

This repository includes the data used in this study, titled 'Projected changes to Tropical Cyclones in the southwest Indian Ocean using high-resolution Global Climate Models'.

The ERA5 Tropical Cyclone (TC) tracks used in this study are identified via the Tempest Extremes and TRACK algorithms. 

The "ERA5_TEMPEXT_DATA.zip" and ERA5_TRACK_wc_ncfiles.zip" folders contain the direct output from the Tempest Extremes algorithm, run on ERA5 by Malcolm Roberts and by Kevin Hodges for TRACK.

The "OBS.zip" , "TEMPEXT.zip" and "TRACK.zip" folders contain our southwest Indian Ocean post-processed IBTrACS, ERA5 and PRIMAVERA-HighResMIP TC tracks. Please refer to the methods section in our study for a detailed explanation of our post-processing steps.
