Yearly, 5-yearly, and Decadal Sea Surface Temperature (SST) and SST anomaly (SSTA) data averaged over the whole typhoon season (May-November) over the entire Global Ocean, North Pacific Ocean, Philippine Sea, South China sea, and Eastern China Sea. Monthly averaged SST and SSTA data are again averaged over the seven months of typhoons season (May-November). SST and SSTA data belong to 1977 to 2016. For measuring SSTA, the base years used are 1941-1970.
