Deforestation model dataset

Data used to model satellite-derived Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) in response to precipitation
in deforested and non-deforested areas of the Brazilian semi-arid Caatinga biome.

Variables:
cell_id - Numeric ID of the pixel included in the analysis
ndvi - Montlhy Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) score of the pixel
prec - Monhtly precipitation value of the pixel
long - Longitude of the pixel centroid
lat - Latitude of the pixel centroid
deforestation - Catogrical variable indicating existance (YES or NO) of deforestation in the pixel
