We performed RNA-Seq on primary colorectal cancer (CRC) tissues and brain metastatic tissues from two CRC patients. Differential expression analysis was conducted to find genes associated with brain metastasis. Overall design: mRNA profiles of primary tissues and metastatic tissues were generated by deep sequencing using Illumina HiSeq platform. *** Raw sequencing data for all the samples will be available at the European Genome-phenome Archive (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/ega/).
