Genome assembly of flowering cherry Cerasus speciosa

The aim of this project is to decode the complete genome sequence of the Oshima cherry Cerasus speciosa, a cherry species endemic to Japan, at the chromosomal level or higher, and to analyze its genetic diversity and phenotypes.
