Mapping-by-sequencing data for mutant allele mf52 (Oscheius tipulae). mf52_Oscheius-mapping

The Oscheius tipulae strain JU69 carries the recessive mutation mf52 in the CEW1 background (reference genome). mf52 is an allele of the locus iov-3, published in Dichtel-Danjoy et al., 2004 (PMID:14697357)In order to map and identify this mutation, it was crossed with the mapping strain JU170. Genomic DNA was extracted and pooled from 47 independent mutant F2 lines and sent for sequencing on a Illumina Hiseq 2000 plateform to generate 100-bp paired-end reads.
