资源简介:
This paper examines the theoretical-methodological, psychological-pedagogical, and practical-didactic foundations for developing students’ professional competence through reading literacy lessons in higher education. Reading literacy is considered not merely as the technical ability to read a text, but as a complex integrative competence that enables a learner to understand, analyze, evaluate, process, and purposefully apply information in professional activity. The study discusses the role of reading literacy lessons in the formation of professional competence, the methodology of working with professionally oriented texts, and the didactic potential of interactive and problem-based teaching methods. Particular attention is paid to the development of critical thinking, logical reasoning, independent conclusion-making, analysis of professional situations, and evidence-based decision-making. The paper argues that the integration of reading literacy with professional training enhances students’ independent learning culture, strengthens their ability to work with scientific and methodological texts, and contributes to the preparation of competitive specialists capable of responding to contemporary labor market demands.
