Fosl-2(Tg) mice develop spontaneous multiorgan fibrosis. RNA-seq was performed with tendon tissue from young animals before they develop tissue fibrosis (Early phenotype) and old animals with advanced fibrosis (Established phenotype), to explore gene expression changes that may contribute to the phenotype in tendons. Overall design: Comparative RNA-seq transcriptome profiling analysis of Fosl-2(Tg) vs. non-transgenic wild-type controls at the early vs. established phases of tendon fibrosis.
