Data were segmented into 1200ms duration epochs, including a 200ms pre-stimulus baseline recording. Regression was performed in order to remove the horizontal and vertical electrooculograms (EOGs) from the Analyzer 2.0 system, using a 0.01-30 Hz band pass filter. Trials with EOG artifacts (mean EOG voltage exceeding ± 80 mV), and those contaminated with artifacts because of amplifier clipping, bursts of electromyography activity, or peak-to-peak deflection exceeding ± 80 mV were excluded from averaging.
