Dynamics of Cross-Shelf Plumes under Upwelling Wind Conditions: RoboCAT Mean Flow & Turbulence Data (April 12-15, 2023), Winyah Bay, SC, USA

The dataset contains near-surface flow data from a Nortek 1000 Signature acoustic Doppler profiler (AD2CP) deployed on the autonomous surface platform RoboCAT. It provides 3D flow and turbulence dissipation profiles, estimated using the structure function method. Data was collected within and around the Winyah Bay plume, SC, USA, during April 12-15, 2023, as part of an NSF-funded research project.
