资源简介:
Liver fibrosis is a common consequence of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, which is more intensive in patients with HIV/HCV coinfection. Impaired gut microbiota is among the pathogenetic mechanisms of liver fibrosis. The current study assessed fecal microbiota diversity, liver-related markers, and level of microbial translocation (MT) in treatment-naïve patients with HCV, HIV, and HIV/HCV coinfection. Keywords: HIV, HCV, coinfection, fecal microbiota, liver fibrosis
