Assets under management of hedge funds worldwide 2023, by investment strategy

As of 2023, hedge funds following an event investment strategy accounted for some of the lowest levels of assets under management (AUM) having under 300 billion U.S. dollars in assets. However, this was more than double that of hedge funds following an arbitrage strategy, these hedge funds accounted for less than 80 billion U.S. dollars in assets.
