Flood Directive 2019 II Cycle — Area of Emilia-Romagna Region — Po Basin, main lattice, infrequent flood hazards M-P2

Cartography representing the delimitation of potentially unfathomable areas for medium probability scenarios or infrequent events, corresponding to return times between 100 and 200 years, as provided for by EU Directive 2007/60/EC Art. 6 — second cycle, with regard to the main natural grid (RP, Po rod and main Emilian tributaries) of the UoM Management Unit (ITN008), on which the District Basin Authority of the Po River is competent, determined on the basis of hydrological-hydraulic modelling, taking into account new knowledge and more in-depth studies that have taken place since 2013 onwards. The map does not take into account the possible occurrence of arginal rupture (residual risk). The information collected and charted concerns the frequency and probability of the event, the origin, characteristics and mechanisms of the flood.
