As of July 2021, about 42.6 percent of customers of the mobile operator TIM surveyed in Brazil and willing to watch the Tokyo Olympic Games said they would do it through free TV. Smartphones and pay-TV were mentioned by 26.1 and 19.1 percent of respondents, respectively.
