The goal is to assess the gene transcript changes of the heart when TRE-Plk1(T210D)-T2A-Ect2; aMHC-rtTA mice are given doxycycline (0.1g/L) in drinking water from 9-10 weeks of age, compared with control mice that receive normal drinking water. Doxycycline leads to cardiomyocyte-specific overexpression of Plk1(T210D) and Ect2.
