VAX014 is a bacterial minicell-based cancer therapy that specifically targets tumors via unligated integrins and induces oncolysis. The present study demonstrates VAX014 can reduce polyp development and alter the immune/microbiome environment when rectally administered into the Fabp-CreXApcfl468 genetically engineered mouse strain that develops colonic adenomas and adenocarcinomas with age.
