Perception and Impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education: A Study with Exact Science Students at UFAC

This dataset comprises the supplementary materials of the undergraduate thesis titled “Perception and Impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education: A Study with Exact Science Students at UFAC”, submitted to the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Information Systems at the Federal University of Acre (UFAC). The main objective of the study was to identify the perception of students from UFAC’s Exact Sciences programs regarding the use of Large Language Model (LLM)-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and to analyze their impacts on learning and time management. Primary data were collected through an online survey (Google Forms), conducted in two phases during 2025 (February–April and June–July), resulting in a sample of 130 valid responses from students enrolled in the Information Systems, Mathematics, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering programs.These materials are made available to promote transparency, reproducibility, and further exploration of the research by other scholars interested in the topic of Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education.
