Mental health care services use rate in South Korea 2001-2021

According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2021, around 11.5 percent of respondents stated that they had used mental health care services. This represents a decrease from the previous few surveyed years. It was noted that the closure or limited operations of facilities due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic likely influenced the ability and willingness of people to access mental health care.
