GBS sequencing of a perennial sunflower mapping population

This study genotyped a Helianthus annuus x Helinathus tuberosus mapping population that segregated for tuber formation (used as a proxy for perennial habit) in order to explore the genetic control of tuber production. This is part of a larger program to explore the potential of perennial agriculture.
