This data package is all about transportation-related data and includes car emission, fuel consumption, fatalities on roads and vehicle occupant safety data.

**Description**
This data package contains the National Transportation Statistics (NTS) present statistics on the U.S. transportation system, including its physical components, safety record, economic performance, human and natural environment, and national security. Transportation's safety record, giving data on accidents, crashes, fatalities, and injuries for each transportation mode and hazardous materials. Compiled and published by the U.S. Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), National Transportation Statistics presents information on the U.S. transportation system, including its physical components, safety record, economic performance, energy use, and environmental impacts. The data package gives information on the following areas:

- Total energy consumed and distance traveled in National Passenger Railroad Corporation (Amtrak), air carriers, class I rail freight and transit modes of transportation
- Euro 2-6 car emissions traded on UK markets
- Injuries and fatalities on roads and air carriers
- Vehicle, air taxi and air carrier safety data
