The Canadian Vichy Intercepts: Raw Microfilm Images, Reels T-17425 to T-17429

This deposit contains the raw digital images of five microfilm reels from the fonds Department of National Defence: Examination Unit / Ministère de la Défense nationale: Sous-section de l'examen, held at Library and Archives Canada (LAC/BAC). The reels document diplomatic telegrams intercepted and transcribed by the Examination Unit (EU) and the Joint Discrimination Unit (JDU) during the Second World War, covering communications from Vichy France (September 1941 – March 1945) and France libre (April 1943 – July 1945). Images are in JPEG format and were downloaded at maximum available resolution using the IIIF Image API parameter /full/max/0/default.jpg. Each image corresponds to one page of microfilm.
